I'm a ninth-generation Newporter. And after spending time out west and coming back for summers, my wife and I finally decided to relocate here full time. We're raising our family here now, and I'm excited about giving my son the same kind of experience I had growing up in this special place.

After Babson, where I studied Business Management and Entrepreneurship, I spent years in San Francisco building and running companies from EVs, to tech, to beer and eventually outdoor recreation. In 2016, I hiked the Pacific Crest Trail from Mexico to Canada. And that experience led me to eventually start a backpacking guiding company, leading expeditions into remote wilderness areas like the Grand Canyon and the Sierra Nevada. That chapter of my life came to an end when my son came into the world and we decided to move back to Newport to put down roots.

My work in the outdoors taught me something important: in the backcountry, you don't wait for problems to happen. You anticipate them. You prepare. You stay ahead. And when something does go wrong, you handle it calmly because you've already thought through what might come next.

That's the same approach your home deserves. Most people think property management is about fixing things when they break. But that's backward. The real work is understanding how you live in your home and making sure it's ready for that life before you even walk in the door. It's not about reacting. It's about knowing. Your home gets the attention it needs in each season. Issues get handled before they become problems. And because I grew up here with deep connections throughout this community, I know who to call and how to get things done quickly and well.

When I'm not working, I'm probably outside doing something. You'll find me hiking in the Norman Bird Sanctuary, playing hockey or tennis. I love teaching people about outdoor stewardship and getting them excited about wild places. I'm genuinely thrilled to be doing this work here and helping other people enjoy Newport the way my family does.
